Support for Migrant Workers, Ethnic Minorities and Asylum Seekers.

This is a new area of work that has been identified through informal consultation by Community Connections volunteers.  The emphasis will be to keep an open mind in terms of the direction this work will take and the initial consultations with the targeted grouping will be vital to the integrity of the activities.

Aim – To engage with people who have relocated to North Leitrim, West Cavan and West Fermanagh from abroad; to promote the social inclusion of new members of the local community as a potential asset to community life; to promote their involvement in community life; to encourage new residents to contribute to community life.
